Hi pax
Hope you continue in the same vein…..no expert on the treatment but hope that you continue to be pain free and no rise in the dreaded levels 🙂

🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Result result result…..Dai that is absolutely great news. I almost couldn't read the next line….blinking eck that's some kind of a reduction and you've got that extra time. Your post made me laugh too. I have images of this nurse just dying to tell you and would she not if you hadn't asked. lol. I would be a rubbish nurse as protocol or not I don't think I could have kept it to myself. I'd have had to think of some way of giving you a clue 🙂
Great result of Janet too….

Hi Carole
Welcome if that's the right word! My Colin was diagnosed in October 2011 with sct nov 2012. Now recovering. He did have real up and down days on his initial treatment…..some days good some bad, some lying on the sofa, others up and about and enjoying ourselves.
He learnt to be used to the muzzy head and bad tummy and we worked around the treatment plan….the lesions are things we don't really know about buts usually damage the long bones…..that said though I suppose it can go anywhere.
Wishing you the very best of luck with your treatment

Tom
Good luck with this next collection, Colin winced when I told him about your circumstaces, in fact he looked really upset, as one who has been there. You have been on our minds…..you are a star for taking things so well….wishing you all the very very best

Hi jacqui
Hope geoffs glad to see the back of the line…Colin was. All went well yesterday. We were told bloods were spot on…..me too stressed, fell asleep in the chair last Night and I never do that!, 🙂
Catch up soon, I think the general trials clinic is on a Wednesday afternoon so look forward to seeing you soon 🙂

Hi jacqui
Glad to hear that Geoff is doing ok…..taking it step by step. Colin has a follow up appointment tomorrow at GRH at 1540, all that time to wait! It would be good to catch up. When are you next in? Tell Geoff to be careful about rushing back to work. Colin went back too fast. Even today he never learns. Had an MRI for back today at GRH, leaving home at 0700 am to beat the traffic, then on to work in Bristol. He's not back yet and he wonders why he is very tired and clapped out for a few days 🙂
Hope tomorrow goes well, keeping fingers crossed. Do you see Sian Middleton every week for a follow up,at the LINC?
Vicki
Oh Tom,
I missed this post when I put something on to say hope you were ok, I thought it was full steam ahead. I can't believe this. Like the others sh happens but blinking echpk, as something as crucial as this, how can that happens, you had 8 million of the little cells, that's a real waste. I can't even think how you must feel. Colin could only manage 2 million nd what if that had happened to him and he'd already had two goes!
Keep your chin up…..you are being very philosophical. I would be fuming and banging someone's door down!

Hey terry
Not impressed with your consultant,….rude and not compassionate. Isn't that part of the hypocritical oath or something! I'd have asked the questions anyway whether he liked it or not! Hope your next phase of treatment goes to plan and great encouragement from Peter. 🙂
