    Hi Andy,
    🙂 🙂
We are with Dai and David. We asked the hard question at the beginning. How long and got told the 5 year average. We were then met by the trial nurse and I cried from one end of the hospital to the other…..that's not me to cry in public. That said we knew that worst, however it's become the challenge to avoid. Our catch phrase failure is not an option!

I would pin them down to ask what the next two options at least are and what are the upcoming trials that you can go on, now or shortly. I'm no expert but I know I'd be asking these questions for Colin……hope that helps

    Hi helen,

Just a quick line to say we hope you are feeling better after your gastro trouble. I get the impression it's best to take your time on this recovery trail. By they way Tom is right about the hair, it looks good. Still can't persuade Colin to go blond after SCT!

    Hi Keith,

I have asked Colin how he was on revlimid. He had 7 cycles of it along with dex and cyclphosmhide. The first cycle he was very very tired and spent a couple of days in bed at one point. He went though peaks and troughs of having energy and being able to go to work on and off, but then completely wiped out by six thirty at night. There seemed to be an underlying tiredness all the time, but inter dispersed with a lot of reasonable activity. There were days when Colin was really chirpy and could do quite a bit. I don't thInk he was at the passing out level but he was wobbly and shaky at times, not all the time though. Worst thing for him was that it really did it's job! If that makes sense. It whacked his immune system down each months much that he normally felt worse at the end of the cycle, not at the beginning. For Colin it was more the dex.

Am sure it will settle down once you get acclimatised. By the way thanks again for your information in SCT,it does mean a lot.

    Good luck

    Hi Mavis

Hey that great about the pps, what a great feeling that is!!!! Don't worry about missing DDT as long as you're off it that's all that matters, ha ha!. On a serious note I don't know about C D T, cook was on revlimid, he has been off treatment for 4 wks now roughly, and seems ok x

    Good luck and keep well

    Hi Stuart

Thank you very much. We will have a look at both. How is your wife doing now? Did she have many side effects afterwards?

    Hey Ann and Pete,

Glad you got the insurance. Have a really great relaxing time, hope the sun, sand and sangria (I assume they have that on Menorca), will have the desired effect.:-)

We are in the waiting game now. Bone marrow biopsy yesterday……as usual sooooo painful. Still to coin a phrase, onwards and upwards.

    Hi Andy

Sorry to hear your pps went up a bit, praps it's just a glitch. Any way at least you had a good break. We Brits know that sunshine hols are a bonus not the norm. An old boss of mine had a phrase, KBO. It took me a while to work out-keep battling on!!. Keep doing that. I reckon Toms recipe of vodka and red wine might be the answer, try that 🙂 🙂

    All the best,

    Colin and Vicki
