  • Hadn't heard about this link before but had read somewhere that people who worked with chemicals such as farmers MM was quite common. I worked in a plating factory and worked with many acids and other chemicals such as cadmium so I often wonder if this is how I ended up with this dreaded disease.

    I take sodium clodranate "Bonefos" 2 tablets twice daily as I am unable to have monthly transfusion due to my gums.
    I do not have any problems with these and have been taking these for 18 months.

  • I had stem cell transplant in Jan 11 and returned to work 1st June. I find I am very tired even though I am still on reduced hours. I think there has to be a happy medium and I am seriously considering going part-time if the work can accommodate me. I am 57 now and feel too young to retire and I like the banter at work and can forget about cancer…[Read more]

    I know when I get the ok I can return to work on a phased return I never thought I would be looking forward to work!I can't wait for a holiday either I feel that I've been serving a prison sentance stuck in the house.
