Hi my name’s Anita, I’m 46 and I was diagnosed with AL symbiosis last week. Have already been to NAC in London. Scan showed its kidneys spleen a nd heart affected and docs want me to have stem cell transplant with high dose chemo. I feel pretty scared at moment and feel numb. It’s like it’s happening to someone else. Does anyone know if I will lose my hair on the chemo ? It probably sounds really vain but I need to know.
Sorry love this is a scary road were all on and no it’s not vain it’s the first thing I thought how bad is that!! Unfortunately you will but get yourself on to hot hair treat yo u self to two lovely wigs there’s some lovely ones it will give you the confidence to face the world I’m gonna get a racing h electric Welsh one for a new look and a animal print turban just keep it glam girl and get y o urban puppy on.
