It started just before xmas with shortness of breath, nausea and aching bones. He decided to go to the GP and over the next three months was sent for a blood test and chest x ray, camera down throat, CT scan of abdomen, another blood test and just last week, a bone scan. He would have had a full body scan last Thursday, but that was the day he died.
It does make you wonder why nothing had been found with all those tests. We're still waiting for the coroner to release the body. I wish they would hurry up as the longer it takes, the harder it is for his kids. If they can actively get on with arrangements, I'm sure they will be able to come to terms with it a lot better, as will the rest of the family.
Thankyou for all your kind words.

The children are coping…just. They wanted a few days to be left on their own so we have done that. Why was it taking so long to diagnose? That's what we are asking. Maybe if they'd worked quicker he would still be with us, but we'll never know. I AM SO ANGRY!
