<p>Thanks for you reply, we have basically been told that dad has to have a mini SCT this is do with his age being over 60 he wouldn&#039;t be able to have the full sct.  All we know is that he will go in for 2 weeks of chemo followed by 2 &#8211; 4 weeks for transplant.</p>

<p>Thank you for your replies, looks like dad won&#039;t have to go to the royal marsden and it will be carried out at our local hospital in Plymouth.  Heard quite good reports about this hospital so fingers crossed.</p>
