Hi folks can anyone out there offer some advice? My Husband has been on CDT these past 5 months at first 3-4 months no rash then suddenly developed a scaly red rash on face, head and upper torso shoulders in particular!
His Consultant says its a steroid rash!! It actually goes away when he’s on his Dex but comes back after 2 days post Dex !!

Thanks for your replies Lyn and Jeff appreciate them , when we went back to pick up his drugs for cycle 5 I happened to ask the Research Nurse if my Husband could go a day earlier for his blood test next month, she said he needs to go on the Thursday as we see the Consultant on the Friday, something to do with taking the Cyclophosphamide on a…[Read more]

Hi everyone my Husband has just completed cycle 4 on CDT he was doing really well on 1st and 2nd cycles but has had a dramatic slow down since !!

Hi Alan sorry to hear about your Chest Infection! Unfortunately that May have masked some of your symptoms ?

Many thanks for your replies Stanley and Mavis, we saw Malcs Consultant yesterday and mentioned the Rib pains he seemed to think the same no pain no gain !!he advised taking Paracetamol , but for someone adverse to taking tablets it’s not easy convincing him to take them.

Hi folks I was wondering if any other MM sufferers on CDT have the Rib Pains after the weekly Cyclophosphamide ? My Husband seems to experience this for a few days after taking them as well as the initial hot flushes a couple of hours later !!

Hello my Husband was recently diagnosed with MM has just completed his first cycle of CDT not been too bad the Dex made him a bit strange !! Verbal diahorreah !! And mood swings !!
