    Tell him not to rub site of injection,otherwise he will be full of bruises.
    Slim had to inject himself for 8 months to prevent clots. Good luck with the Velcade. Eve

    You could have a look at back answers on this site,if you put in kidney in top right hand corner it should come up with something ,I think a fw people will reply to you who have had the same problem

    Are you on dialysis ?..,

    I can only tell you about my husband he was admitted with AKF,as he progressed his kidneys regenerated,never went on dialysis!!!!!when it came to his SCT they took on board the knowledge of his kidneys,and he had a lower dose of chemo,but enough to do the job.

    Do not worry about him not phoneing,he will feel all his energy has been zapped out of him,sounds if things are going as planned,Slim use to sleep,on waking he was so apologetic ,I arrived he slept then just as I was leaving he woke,get a good book,they still want you there when they wake up.     Slim had a letter ages ago just a general letter from pensions office,he gets attendance allowance ,right in the middle of the letter it actually says you must inform them if you have a SCT or any other change.
