I have just started course 50 of Revlimid  and can recommend it. My Pps have been reported as un- measurable during most of that time. I understand that figure is something under 1 and as low as 0.1. I can go to sleep in front of the TV very easily and have more aches and pains but I don’t know how much of is just normal old age. You may need to put up with a little discomfort to greatly extend your time. J

Sorry I can’t help with the weak skin but the bruising could be a “low platelet level” What are your blood test figures? Platelets need to be 100 or above. I am struggling to meet that recently. Just doing day to day things or a bit of DIY and afterwards I have red marks on my arm that turn into a bruise and take about two weeks to fade. What is your  Pp’s (Paraprotin)  reading. You might be able to reduce the Revlimid dose ( the most likely cause of the problem). Ask your consultant at your next appointment.

I have been reading the forum for a while now. I have just signed in in order that I can reply to this post. I am currently taking course no 48  of Revlimid maintenance. During most of that time  my PP’s have been in un-measurable category.  I agree that I have more energy on the week I am off the tablets and add that it is even more noticeable on the odd occasion that  I have had longer off  the tablets. I had my SCT just before Christmas 2010 and was randomised to go on the tablet soon after that date. I can recommend them but add every treatment has some side effects or disadvantages.
