Hi Liz
Sorry to hear that Kev is having such a bad time. I know what you mean about men being stubborn. (sorry all you men out there!). I am sorry that I can't give any help on the problem that Kev is having. Sometimes posts get "way laid" or lost so maybe if you start a new topic under Treatment or Side affects with a heading on the problem -…[Read more]

Hi Gina
My husband diagnosed sept 2006. He is not on any treatment. His protein went up to 31 and then dropped to 24 started to rise again and now is 28. We also go back in…[Read more]

Bridget what brilliant news. I am so glad to hear more good news. Now those horrible night demons will take a hike. So take it easy on the housework. I had a boss years ago and she always said "there is an acceptable level of dust", something I live by. (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)
Good on you!

Dear Susan
My deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of Kevin. When I first joined the forum Kevin gave me good advice on worries that I was having about my husband, for which I was very grateful. As Dai and David say "He was one of he good guys".
God bless and take care.

Hi Jo
Thanks. We leave Majorca and visit Ibiza Gibraltar Malaga and 2 other place – I forget. I have a head on me like a sieve. When we all go together we have a great time. My brother is a nutcase – in the nicest way – and he thinks its his job to ensure that everyone enjoys themselves. Hope it comes off

Yes Bridget CF is a horrible disease. 30 years ago, our friends son died of it at age 16. They are still very much involved in CF (fund raising etc) and tell us of the great progress that has been made.
Tell your daughter that the best cure for hang over is the "hair of the dog". (that's my excuse)
My best wishes

Hi Bridget
I can understand how your mum feels. It's bad enough watching a loved partner ging through this horrible illness, never mind watching your child.
I hope all goes well tomorrow and I will be thinking of you and you will be in my prayers. Do let me know how thing go.
