Dear Sue
My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time. I never met Keith but I followed his journey for some time. He gave us all support and comfort and his knowledge of the awful disease, even whie going through such a hard time himself. May your memories and family give you strength through this very sad time

Hi Liz
Hope you have a brilliant time – bit green with envy 🙂 frank is 7 weeks post SCT and Frank is also looking forward to a nice holiday. He smouldered for nearly 7 years so we travelled a lot. I am a bit paranoid. We use Quinessence Synergy. We have been using it for years. Before we board flight put a few drops on hanky and just stiff during flight. I also take Dettol wipes on board and wipe everything down. Head rest, chair everything that frank will touch. (Told you I was paranoid). From Frank was diagnosed in 2006 our doctor gave him anti biotics to keep in the house in case he needs the. We always told consultant we were going away and she would give us e ok and a script for antibiotic.
Sorry for going on but I know people on the air craft might think I'm mad but I don't care. I have to say paranoid or not – thank God, but frank has never been ill when abroad
Have a brill time

Ps also carried Dettol spray in suitcase and sprayed hotel room. Tolu – paranoid :-/ 🙂
Good luck Scott. Hope you get a long remission

Thanks Helen for the good wishes. I tried to get tipsy but with the whole family together – frank and 2 sons United supporters and 2 Liverpool supporters – lets just say it was not a quiet day :-D. I'm really surprised how well Frank is getting on. He said last night he was doing to look at flights for Malaga but I sort of side tracked it. Pretended I didn't hear
Head no me like a sieve so if I forget have a great time in Cornwall. Place I've always wanted to go to. Hope the weather is good for you. Here it is c***!!
Take care

Ps although i love our sons to bits this is the time I miss having a daughter. Wa quite envious reading your post about shopping with your daughter. Enjou
Frank thanks you all for your good wishes. Don't know whether its a good thing or not but he is slightly tipsy at the moment 🙂 He did enjoy himself and that s the main thing. We had to leave the restaurant a little early – have you guessed – yup United were playing but he continued partying even after the draw.
Thank you all again

Hi Nikki
Frank was in the same boat. All his bloods were dood except for potassium. The kept him in an extra 3 days on a drip.potassium started to rise and they said he could go home. Frank asked was it his own body or the potassium drip that was responsible for the increase. They said it was a good point and kept him in another day. They gave him medication to take home. He's home 3 weeks now and although potassium is improving he's still on meds
Hope all goes well for your pop
Love Jean
Hi Terry
My husband has had MM for nearly 7 years. He has just had his SCT. I couldn't care less if I never have another holiday in my life. As long as I have Frank I will be happy. I do not know your wife but I am certain that she "is not waiting around until the end before she can move on with her life". As Andy says – every days a gift. This blo*dy disease turns your life up side down. As a carer it is so hard to watch your loved one cope with this illness and you are so powerless to do anything to help them only to be there for them, support them and to love them. Does your wife know how you feel? I know it's not the 'manly' thing for men to wear their heart on their sleeve.
Come on here and rant. We have all been there
Take care

Hi Vicki
Frank is doing ok – I think :-S He is getting his appetite back. Eating small amounts but few times a day. He has had a G& T, Guiness atnd beer. Hasn't got the taste for wine back and vegetables, he won't touch them. Doesn't appear to be putting on any weigh. Going tomorrow to see consultant
How is Colin now?
Best to you both
