Ellen replied and said Chemo tablets can be taken whenever suits the person . She just reiterated that Thalidomide to be taken at night and Dex in morning. Thank goodness, hope next month will be as good as this one. Just have to get the Dex sorted now.:-P

Thanks Helen I hope you are right as it has made a real difference to Frank – hope it is not a one off. He actually went out down to Marks and Spencer's. I will let you know what Ellen says.

    Dear Lynne

I am so sorry for the loss of John to this awful disease. And reading your posts of John's journey, you are so right to be proud of him. Lynne I really don't know what to say but just to let you know that I will be thinking of you in the weeks to come. Tom is right – you had years of good times to remember. My sincerest condolences to you and all your family.

Hi Alan what a lovely post. I am so glad that you are in remission, your journey with this awful disease is inspiring. My hubby is on 6 cycles of CDT – he is coming to the end of the third – halfway there. If everything goes ok they will start STC.

You sound as if all your support networks are in place. Good luck and long long long may remission continue.

    Hi Pat
Welcome to the club no-one wants to join. Sorry you find yourself here but you are in the right place for support and to rant and rave if you want. You are not a wuss and dont apologise, it is a worying time for you. Although my husband has had Myeloma for 6 years he has been smoulding and has just started treatment. I'm still a novice about what is going on but learning every day. When the haematologist suspected Myeloma she sent Frank for a Bone Marrow Biopsy which confirmed that it was Myeloma. There will be someone along that will be able to help with your questions – they are a very knowledgeable and friendly lot and will be able to help re questions for the doctor.

No point in telling you not to worry but I hope things go well for you next week.
    Take care

    Dear Gill

You have nothing to apologise for, that's what the forum is for. I know if I didn't rant I would go mad. I hope the 'wizard' can work some magic and help ease Stephen's pain. I know it's hard to watch someone you love in pain but I hope Gill that things get easier for Stephen and that you can take things a bit easier. My thoughts are with you both.

    Take care

    Hi Charlie

Frank has just started 3rd cycle of CDT. First month drove him nuts with hiccoughs, they went on for hours. The consultant put him on Nexium. It helped a bit, second month she increased it and so far he has only hic coughed a little. When it starts he takes natural yoghurt and it stops them. Hope all goes well with you.
