    Hi Nicola
Thank you for your kind words on the passing of my brother. I am so sorry that your dad has passed away. It sounds as if he was a very well loved and respected man. You will have great memories of him and it is good to know how much he was loved by others. I wish you the very best of luck with your find raising. My best wishes to you and your family.
    Take care

    Hi Jo
So glad that thIngs are good for you. Frank these past couple of days has been in brilliant form. He caught me a cracker this morning for "April fool". We are still expecting snow. Can't go anywhere as Franks appointment is on 19th April and I don't like to be too far from home. Jo it is so great to hear that things are going well for friends on the forum. Keep it up and keep well.

Hi Elizabeth I got one when you mentioned it before. I now have a little folder on my lap top with the files dated so I can listen again. They are great. Thanks

    Hi Dai

The River Rose was really lovely. It must be very difficult to write a song with someone so far away! I really enjoyed it. The first link would not work said it had expired.

    Best wishes

    Hi Jo

Good to hear from you. How are you doing? Hope all is going well for you. As usual Frank is driving me nuts – but love him dearly. Waiting for appointment for CAT scan. Still has pain is side. Some days he's good and others – bad form. Must be feeling good today as we are going out for dinner. We have had fantastic weather all week but today it turned cold again – central heating back on and supposed to have a snowy Easter!!

    Have a great weekend

    Hi Steph and Andy

I am sorry you have had to join our "club". I am a carer to (hate that word). My husband Frank has MM diagnosed in 2006. They are truly a great bunch here, you will get friendship, support, advice comfort and hugs. It has been my lifeline and I know you will get a lot out of it. Ask anything and I'm sure someone will have an answer.

    Take care

    Hi all

Thank you all for your lovely words. Derek was buried yesterday and if a funeral can be described as "nice" – it was nice. Derek's neighbour is a lay preacher and they had been friends since Derek moved in 14 years ago. Billy knew Derek very well and he conducted the proceedings. It was nice to listen to someone who really knew him. Then a young neighbour who Derek 'adopted' spoke about him as well. Derek had asked her to speak for him after he had gone. She is only 18 and did very well. It was a beautiful hot sunny day.

Eve it's is a bit of both. I am glad that Derek is no longer in pain but it just doesn't seem right that he could not have had longer. I fell out with God when my mum was dying -30 years ago and we did not speak for 24 years, but we talk now.

Gill I am so glad to read about Stephen. Hope you have a fantastic time in France.
Sorry about going on so long. Thanks again

    Love jean xx

Hi Mavis, I'm sorry that you have jhad to join us, but welcome. You will find support, advice and comfort from cyber friends here. This is the best place to rant and rave, and no one will say anything My hubby was diagnosed 2006. He is still "smouldering" , no treatment. The hardest thing we have ever had to do was to tell our 4 grown up sons. They were very shocked but now they are my tower of strength. We still have not told our oldest grand daughter – 14 – as she absolutely adores her "papa Frank" and we don't think she could handle it. I understand how scared you are, I think we all have gone through that. I was recommended to see a counsellor – through Macmillan – and it was the best thing I could have done. So reassuring to know they are at the end f the phone. Any time you want to scream – come on here – someone will have been where you are now.

My best wishes to you and hubby
