    Dear David

Sorry I can't help. Frank has not started treatment so I don't know much about SCT or side affects. Just wanted to say that I am so glad you are feeling better. I have been following your posts and I think you are amazing.

I hope you have a fantastic Christmas and healthy new year and that your mouth starts to improve.

    Hi Gina

My hubby is in a similar situation. disagosed 4 years ago. Protein goes up and down like a yoyo. Was at the consultant on Thursday and protein down to 26 (was 29 last time) but other bloods are stable so Frank is happy enough. We go back in February.

Hope your mum goes from strength to strenth.

Enjoy Christmas. Have a great time and a healthier new year to your mum.

All the very best and enjoy

    Hi Nikki

You are so right. It is difficult at the beginning but life has to go on as normal (as much as possible) I have to say that before this horrible disease we would both huff but not now. (Boy were we huffers) We are enjoying evrythng as much as we can. I follow Franks lead, as he is going through this I just take my cues from him. ~When I feel like ranting and raveing – this is where I do it.

Hope the snow is not causing you too much trouble. Here in N Ireland it is wild. We have been house bound for 2 days but in a weird way we are enjoying it.

    Bes wishes

What a terrible thing to be going through. I so agree with Min, although it takes a lot of energy to deal with these 'jobs worth'- kick up as much fuss and as you can I really can't understnad how they can get away with this. As Min says put it to watch dog – write an email to them – write to everyone that you think will listen and sincerley hope that you get some positive guidance.

    Dearest Roz

It has all been said. I hav also followed your posts and my thoughts and love have been with you Michael and your daughter. You all have been through so much and I so agree with Susan. Talk to Michael about all the fantastic times that you have had as a family and through your life together. I am sure that all that have been following Michael and your journey through this horrible illness are all sending you love and big hugs. My heart and love go out to you all. You are all in my prayers.

    God bless and much love.

I am really thinking of buying shares in Lemsip and Manuka honey! Have to admit Franks form appears to have improved. Maybe it's because Man United won! Little pleases the innocent. He has had no temp = so that is good. He is sitting with the lemsip and honey – me – a gin and tonic. Don't know if the lempsip is doing him any good but the G & T is doing me the workd of good.

Hope you wake up tomorrow feeling a lot better.

    Hi Bridget

Rant away. At least here we listen and supportive!.Dog doesn't lisen either. I have a Westie and compltely ignores me.

I hope you cold improves. I had it for a week (just remnants hanging on). Frank has it and even I have to admit it was bad. We are sitting watching the United Arsenal match and Frank has all the cold remedies in front of him and is wrapped in a blanket. It's like a bl***y hot house in here.

I just love Christmas so I wish you a speedy recovery and take care of yourself. Get hubby to wait on you.

    Love Jean xx
