Probably far too late for you but I have my treatment at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds. All care has been very thorough and very prompt. The day unit and wards are on a smallish and very friendly purpose built centre very. Because small all staff get to know you well and always greeted with name by everyone.
Although small the consultant us excellent. Just started current line and drug brand new and still on additional reporting/ monitoring.
The MDT includes some from Addenbrooks in Cambridge which is large hospital so get best of both worlds.
Other positive is that if you are admitted the food is all freshly prepared on premises and as good as home cooked!!

I was given carfilzomid, dex and lenlidomide starting April 2003. First 2 cycles had very unpleasant symtoms but advised persevere and since then virtually no symtoms and myeloma markers all returned to normal in cycle 3.
I would persist for at least 2 of 3 cycles.

I was diagnosed in 2020 and on 1st relapse suffered a plasmacytoma which was 12 cm diameter. I was given 1 big dose of Radiotherapy with no side effects other than nausea shortly after having radiotherapy. Plasmacytoma shrank away in 2 or 3 weeks.
Hope that is reassuring and good luck with treatment
