  • Dear Sarah,

I believe it is your beloved amsrk’s service today. If I have got it right, I pray you will find much comfort, not only in the words of the service that Mark had lovingly prepared, but also in the many friends who will come to support you.

You are quite right! Our faith that death is not the end, gives us courage to go on, but it…[Read more]

  • Hi Maureen

Good to hear Ian has a new way forward. I do hope things go very well for him.

    Best wishes to you both.

  • Hi Andrea

Glad you have been able to resume your CDT. I had six lots and it got me into complete remission and I have remained so for nearly 2years. For various reasons I didn’t go down the SCT route.

Hope things go really well for you.

    Hi Alison

As you have bone pain, are you on Zometa infusions? I swear mine have stopped me having any fractures from my many lesions.

    Very best wishes.

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I have been referred to Cardiff discuss stem cell collection and SCT. Thankfully I am coping really well with CTD at the moment.

    Best wishes

  • Hi everyone,

Just thought I would update on my progress. I managed 4 cycles of CDT but struggled through the last few weeks of it not sleeping at all, feeling very spaced out etc. I also had quite marked facial numbness and on top of that hot flushes and night sweats to contend with! My paraprotein had reduced from 42 to 15 so that was excellent.…[Read more]

    Hi Rebecca

Frank went through SCT in March 2013. On leaving the hospital he was told he would have to have “the baby” injections, right from the start. Fingers crossed it will be a slow relapse. It is hard to stop worrying but you just have to take it a day at a time. It is a good sign that Colin is feeling well and that the blood results are good.
