    Hi Gill

Sorry that Stephen is having such a rough time. Hope the medication works soon. It sounds really bad. Our surgery is useless. The nurses guards the doctors like VIP's. Frank saw doctor and the said that He doesn't think it is shingles – the spots he had are gone. And not like you describe, they looked a bit like the Rosa rash that…[Read more]

    Hi Jean

This MM is a bu**er! My hubby has MM diagnosed Set 2006. Only treatment he has had is Zometa. About last 9 months has had pain in side. Consultant thought it was ribs. Sent him for a skeletal X-came back no change. His protein is at 30. But as other tests are stable they don't seem to be concerned. He still has bad pain in side but…[Read more]

    Hi Dai

Maybe things will work out for you for once. When you have the screenings you might be accepted on the Trial without the "p" results!!!!!

Sending lots of positive vibes for Monday.

    Dear, dear Bridget.

Will pray that this one dose of radiotherepy does have a good effect on the pain, also that they will agree to another MRI. So sorry you need one as I know you find them so painful, but at least it will be able to give you peace of mind. I'm glad that NHS money is being spent on you – it couldn't go to a better…[Read more]

    Hi Tina

I can see that thinking about the Trial is daunting, but at least you know that you will be monitored very, very closely and doses will be adjusted if side effects are too bad.

    All best wishes.

    Mavis x

  • Hi Tom

Like everyone else I am delighted at your news. Fancy, nothing at all! I think once monthly zometa is good, but nothing, that's amazing! Couldn't happen to a nicer person!

Also hope we still hear from you from time to time.

Very best wishes for a long, long, phase of nothing.

  • Hi Kerry
Sounds like like you guys are are really strong, stick with it as people have said the medical team will have treatment options so just ask them thats really important. The more you ask the better informed you are.
