    It,s my husband with Myeloma,he is in remission after ctd then vcd,and going to Kings this month to see if sct is possible,because he is on Myeloma X1 trials,he will be randomised either for treatment or no treatment.

    you must be feeling pretty low at the moment its so hard for you that the transplant didnt work,have you got a brother or sister that could give you a good match. I am ok at the moment thats all any one can say I never had an SCT because my kidneys were so damaged. fingers crossed for a good match for you

    This may be completely unrelated but after my hysterectomy my eyes became very itchy too. I know that Deb Gascoyne and Jet Black both mentioned post SCT menopause so possibly it could be that. Absolutely no help whatsoever I know. Wish I had an answer for you.

    The first couple of cycles Mike would go up to the day unit for his appointment time, be sent down to get his bloods taken and then wait 4-5 hours for the results and Velcade to be made up in pharmacy.     Hi Eve I was on Velcade a couple of years ago whilst on the Myeloma X Trial The first treatment of each cycle took the longest , questionaires etc then blood test and a wait of about an hour and a half or two hours for drugs to be made up From the second treatment onwards they used the previous blood results to make the infusion although there…[Read more]
