Dear Gaye that sounds hopeful I cant remember where Mr Malloy works but he is a specialist in myeloma fractures , I think it may be the Royal London though. Apparently when he looked at my x-ray there was a lot of head shaking .He couldnt believe how little of my spine was left!!So surgery would be too dangerous for me but I really hope they can…[Read more]

Dear Gaye it seems so unfair that you are still suffering an unbearable amount of pain despite the rt .I suppose it would be risky repeating the rt but has anyone suggested any other options ? Is surgery possible ? There must be something they can do and I hope they dont keep you hanging on too long Its a good job you are a tough old bird like…[Read more]

Hi Debs
Hope you have told "them" about your suspicions of nueropothy as everything i have read, especially of US site, says tell folk soon as you might need to decrease dose.

I echo Debs' comments.
You must be feeling angry as well as overwhelmingly sad. Life does seem very unfair at times, and it seems so unfair that MM takes so long to diagnose.
Please be assured of my prayers too.

I am so so sorry for the loss of your brothers. I cannot even begin to imagine how you are feeling at the moment and how hard this must be for you and your family.
I don't really know what else to say except to how much I will be thinking of you and your family. And remember, you don't have to come to terms with it quickly. Use this period to…[Read more]

Hi Keith,
So glad to hear that you have responded. Gosh it has really made me realised just how different we all are with our MM. My pp's went down from 50 to 27 on revlimid and they didn't class it as a very good response!!!
Am now on the velcade and on week 3 of my first cycle. The first two weeks were problem free bar ABSOLUTE exhaustion…[Read more]
