    Had my 2nd Velcade injection today and my Dex this morning, no bloods today but I got my bloods wrote down today so take a look and let me know what it means lol

    HB 13.4
    WBC 4.9
    Plts 2.58
    Neuts 2.58

    27/01/14

    Hb 12.5
    WBC 4.2
    Plts 237
    Neuts 2.47

    Now I ain’t sure if decimal point is in the correct place lol.

    My husband (70 last April) renewed his licence and he said that “if you suffer from a condition that precludes you from driving …….” Myeloma does not fall into that category. He had no problem. He said thT it so Lu for 3 years

    sorry not answered your posts before now I would get your leg checked for DVT it sounds like similier
    symptons to some one in my clinic they had DVT

    the velcade really worked for me o paras at the moment the kidneys got worse AFTER I finished chemo funny that so much so they fitted a fistular in my arm any way I must be an ornery b*gger as they have improved at the last visit to the clinic My consultant told me of the new improved velcade which is supposed to be even better than the…[Read more]

    sorry slim is still unwell did you know there is Velcade 2 a follow on which is supposed to be even better than the first one I have just or three months ago finished velcade didn’t need platelets at all but had several blood transfusions not been on this site for weeks could not get on every way I tried my son in law did it for me

    It seems such a long time since kev had his sct but I can remember he wanted to sleep a lot,
    But he also remembers the nurses & drs bombarding him with tests blood transfusions Ect: but I kept telling him it’ll all be worth it but then he’d fall asleep! Hang in there carol and here’s hoping the next few days won’t be too bad,
