  • Hi, sorry to hear your bad news. I was interested to hear you mention diesel as I've been heavily exposed to the stuff for years. I was also a HGV driver until diognosis in jan last year, wish I knew then what I know now!

    In view of the short time since you lost Stephen you sound to be doing well. I used to talk to my Mum's photo for ages after she died. I found it really comforting and often seemed to get "advice"!

    My husbands Amitriptyine was increased from 5 m to 25 m.by consultant in Kings Hospital London for PN,see consultant!!!!

    Also I used a coco based buttermilk cream which I massaged his feet and legs,I still do this as it helps circulation plus helps with dry skin.

    We go to see consultant next Friday,for more results,that they have known the results of for over. 2 weeks,never mind about Slim he,s just the patient!!!

    A number of people on here,had problems with private insurance,one I can think of is Gill,her husband was at deaths door,and insurance still would not pay,I do not know if they ever recieved the insurance. Before he died.

    The insurance make it hard to claim,there is only one way to go, Name and Shame to a national paper.Eve

    Hey Peter I had a femoral line in don't do Hickman's as the get infected easy, and I am on glasses now femoral line has been removed Ha ha.

    Eve now don't you go blaming the Ipad as it has a spell check with it Lol, and I know you could never run out of nerves Lol.

    The Consultant I mean is the one that is dealing with your Mum's Myeloma and or the nurse in his department.

    I am sorry I cant add anything else Mohammad as am sure this should be left to your Mothers consultant.
