Hi Jane
Welcome to the club, it's my husband with Myeloma and he is 2years down the line, nice to hear you have a sense of humour,I think it will hold you in good stead as your treatment progresses.
I have a sense of humour, sometimes near the mark, but I think if you did not laugh about something you would end up crying,as you get to know…[Read more]

Hi Louise,
That is the problem with the stem cell transplant, it has to get worse before it gets better! :-/ I hope your Dad continues to do as well as can be expected and that he turns the corner soon and starts to feel better. Hospital food isn't great when you are feeling well, so when you are feeling poorly it is the last thing you want.…[Read more]

Just bumping this one up so that new Under 50's (or thereabouts!) can get access to the Under 50's site – one bonus of the site is that you can rant and rave if you need to without worrying that the people you are ranting and raving about might read your comments – it is a private site so even those innermost feelings that you don't want your…[Read more]

Thanks David sounds fun 🙂 Must be an English tradition – never heard of it before. If I tried it in Frank he will think that I have eventually flipped

Lots of love Sue
Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. You must have been very proud of Charlotte. Aren't we lucky to have a daughter. I love mine to bits, even if she and the family are about to go and live in Luxembourg.
Take care, be patient with yourself, you are on a long, sad journey.

I'd forgotten that I had shingles while on CDT and it was very painful – round my middle. Still get a tightness, but nothing to worry about.
Take care.
