    Hi Susie

    Its is quite common for this to happen.My wife had the same thing happen to her.The only advice I would give you is to keep away from lots of people shopping trolleys anywhere the public touches things card machines bank machines. Waah, Wash,wash,and wash your hands many times a day. Don’t touch your mouth or nose with your hands. (Sounds like Corna advice) but thats the simple answer to it all. They neutrophils will come back don’t get to het up about things. I know the is easy said than done. If any children around you have colds keep away from them as well. Don’t shake hands or kis etc.

    Hi Nigel thanks for the advice great to hear you are in remission. You know only to we’ll what this is like one minute you are going along with not a cere in the world the next life becomes very different. It probably is just me panicking about this new way of life.

    Hi Zoe

    Im assuming your GP has referred you to the Haematologist to discuss if you need any further tests. They may do another blood teston the day just in case it was a rouge result and then decide if any further tests needs doing. Hope this helps

    Hi Rosary many thanks for your advice as I am sure you will know only to well this part of the journey is very scary not knowing the definitive diagnosis and adjusting to a new way of living. I must say i have found this forum very helpful at this time and your help about the visits to the consultant is much appreciated
