Wasnt it a brilliant day full to capacity and to meet others who had travelled from further down in cornwall and devon.Our consultants were execellent like you i felt a lot more confident about the future.Im sorry that i thought you were on holiday instead of in hospital as you hadnt posted on the site.I hope you will feel better soon.Myra

Hi Dai i always enjoy your posts yes i agree the southwest is lovely .Our support group in plymouth which is this friday has not long started.It is well attented with a good mix of ages with a few more of us from the southeast cornwall.

Hi Kathleen greetings from southeast cornwall.I live near LIskeard still a long way from Falmouth but we could meet you in Liskeard and drive you up to the support group in Plymouth which might help.I had my sct in Jan 08 unfortunateley i have relapsed and i am on Revlimid but responding well.

Hi Shirls lovely to hear from you.I finished my 8th cycle of Velcade end of December so am enjoying not having any treatment especially the Dex. My next appointment is 7 Feb so i have my fingers crossed.Best wishesMyra x

Hi Gill i was sorry to read of Stephens relapse. I have just finished 8 cycles of Velcade treatments which i started in may 09 for my relapse. My treatment was to take the Dex on the morning i had the Velcade and the following morning. When you have Velcade 2xweek it is a bit of a rollar coaster with the Dex and sleep!.
