<p>I just have an agonising few week wait to see the Hematologist now to see what is what. My results were as below so not sure what they mean really only that it appears I have the M protein so likely MM or MGUS.</p>

<p>I am new to this site and just wanted to hear members very first signs and symptoms of MM and that something was wrong.</p>

<p>a long story short a routine blood test showed elevated calcium and protein further blood test showed that I have a paraprotein and likely MGUS or Multiple Myloma.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been referred to a hemotaligist and I&#8217;m worried sick!</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve just joined the site an would love some advice!</p>
<p>Upon a routine blood test in September  to check for gout, my bloods showed elevated calcium and protein. Further blood tests carried out by my GP showed  a monoclonal para protein and elevated serum kappa.</p>
