I wondered if anyone also suffers with osteoporosis. I have a break in my spine When this is painful it difficult to know whether I am progressing from smouldering myeloma to active myeloma, or the pain is from osteoporosis.

God has blessed my treatment and my back pain has improved. My Haematologist contacted me and advised that a recent skeletal survey is showing that the vertebrae fractures have healed. This does not always happen with Myeloma fractures, but he said that my good period of remission following my stem cell transplant has allowed the bone…[Read more]
