Pauline was diagnosed in April 2009 after a several months of repeat infections and started Chemo in May. Almost immediately she suffered severe toxic reaction to cyprofloxacin and spent a month in hospital during which she suffered 2 crushed vertabrae. After delays from this and a struggle to generate stem cells she had a miserable time with her SCT in Jan 2010 and was given the all clear in August.
