    Hi Mavis, thank you for replying, dear Mum has had her pain relievers[opiates] reduced and she is coming around, more alert and stronger in hospital the side effects had really affected her badly, sadly she has quite a bit of bone pain in shoulder and hip and has had one course of chemo but on hold until she is stronger, no arthritis but my…[Read more]

  • Ahh sounds as though you will be well cared for, i do wish you and your family well,this is such a helpful site and people are so kind, you mentioned diesel, would you know if traffic pollution and myeloma are linked ie living next to busy roads? just a thought there might be some research out there somewhere San.

    Hi Peter, yes Mum is 76 now she lives in Devon, currently in a community hospital to build her up but intially diagnosed when in Torbay hospital on the oncology ward 3 weeks ago,sadly Mum has quite a lot of bone damage to spine and shoulder and it has been such a shock to the family and so sad to see her suffering, she is being so courageous…[Read more]
