Hi Jan no urine sample it was just on my blood results. I’m not sure what the levels were I was’nt really listening as it was a shock and doc was saying how do I feel ? Hello again Ann Jan has said just what I was thinking !!!!! I thought you would have been on cemo tablets now??? Then as she says you get a big dose just before your transplant, when I'm afraid your hair will start to come out 🙁 but the good news is it comes back curly 🙂

Hi Ner sorry to hear about your mum sounded really bad !!! I was the same starting with rib pain, back, then finally my left hip and as your mum the doctor kept saying it was muscular !!!!! Anyway eventually after nearly a year a blood test came back and the bomb shell news myeloma !!!!

Hi Wendy sorry to hear You'v got pain, as you know I was getting pain in my hip when I saw you in the summer, and after X-ray cat scan then MRI under mr. Orr the orthapedic consultant they said I'd a fractured hip !!!!!! No wonder I was in pain ???

Yes I'v mentioned on here before about my itchy spots since my sct in oct. last year!!! Doc gave me anti hystemines witch help'd a little but think its something we've just to live with !!!

Hi there, if you need to know anything this is the site for you ask anything and someone will give a good answer. I know you'll all still be in shock but it does get better and things are not as bad as you first think.
I had stem cell transplant in October and now in remission.
So anytime you need help just ask.

Hi terry when I was in free mans hospital in Newcastle in October last year for my transplant, I asked the same question. Unfortunately you had to pay to get on line as I'd already payed some stupid amount for the tv I decided against paying for wifi and just used my phone which has Internet on. Hi I'm in Keswick Cumbria age 55 local hospital Carlile but had my sct,at Freeman's Newcastle under prof. Jackson. It's 9 weeks since sct, hair growing back slowly (white) got called sir last week !!!!!! And also charged for a pensioners meal lol so that might be a good thing ?????

Hi Cally thank god i thought i was the only one wit a rash!! I put a post on here under newcomers SPOT'S wish i'd seen this first. Went to my Dr's got anti hyst tablets and cream seam to be working!!! Had my STC 5 weeks ago and i hope i'm not going to suffer these spots for 9 months !!! Any way nice to see you on here Sandra.
