Yes I'v mentioned on here before about my itchy spots since my sct in oct. last year!!! Doc gave me anti hystemines witch help'd a little but think its something we've just to live with !!!

Hi there, if you need to know anything this is the site for you ask anything and someone will give a good answer. I know you'll all still be in shock but it does get better and things are not as bad as you first think.
I had stem cell transplant in October and now in remission.
So anytime you need help just ask.

Hi everyone so glad to hear its not just me with pains after my sct , it's now 7 months since mine and my pain in my back and ribs we'r worrying me !!! Thinking my myeloma was back !!,
I went on holiday end of march never again legs swelt up on flight never went down all holiday then came home with a stonking cold !!!! Doc thought I might have a DVT so ended up with injections in my belly every day till they could fit me in for scan all clear but then pain in my ribs so sent back to hospital for chest x ray !!!! All clear thank god !!!
So all in all had a crap few weeks so no more holidays abroad for me UK will do me from now on!!!
As for going back to work !!! I'm now 56 I couldn't possibly do the job I used to do slicing bacon all day !!! Starting at six everyday I can't Evan wake up for eight these days !!!! If I'v only got ten fifteen years left why kill myself working I'm haveing my retirement years now !!! I worked hard all my life and felt really guilty not going back but now I'v realised your just a number and can be replaced any where.
I'm lucky I can manage on the pittance the government give me.
Any way rant over hope everyones ok.

Hi terry when I was in free mans hospital in Newcastle in October last year for my transplant, I asked the same question. Unfortunately you had to pay to get on line as I'd already payed some stupid amount for the tv I decided against paying for wifi and just used my phone which has Internet on. Hope this helps a little. Sandra.

Hi jet, I've been following your blog with great interest as your only a few months ahead of me with your sct. I had a feeling you we're gay ( my gay dar lol) yes I'm gay too. Not that I've found any difference in my treatment or anything mind you I don't go shouting it. So no I've no issue but I'm glad I'm not the only one on here. Sandra.

Hi Vicki, when I was in getting my sct 2 months ago the only thing I could face was sparkling water and rich tea biscuit 's to dip in my tea!!!! Hope this helps Sandra.

Hi I'm in Keswick Cumbria age 55 local hospital Carlile but had my sct,at Freeman's Newcastle under prof. Jackson. It's 9 weeks since sct, hair growing back slowly (white) got called sir last week !!!!!! And also charged for a pensioners meal lol so that might be a good thing ?????
Still getting the itchy spots and it's funny when I mention it to dr's they don't seem to have heard of anyone else have'in this problem !!!!

Hi Cally thank god i thought i was the only one wit a rash!! I put a post on here under newcomers SPOT'S wish i'd seen this first. Went to my Dr's got anti hyst tablets and cream seam to be working!!! Had my STC 5 weeks ago and i hope i'm not going to suffer these spots for 9 months !!! Any way nice to see you on here Sandra.

Cheers Helen Doc's given me some cream and anti hystemine tablet, hope that does the trick !!! Off out on Friday for a girly lunch o i'll make them all stay 5 foot away lol Hope your cold's not too bad. Sandra.
