Hello Susie, thanks for your reply. With it only being a recent diagnosis i’m still finding my way round the various w sites and groups. I cant get it out of my mind at the moment,I have very little confidence in anything I do,even phoning for a dental appointment I need to have for one of the drugs involved was  a massive effort. Its hard to explain but its like being in a different world.

I’m being treated at Doncaster, and so far I am totally overwhelmed by the care shown by the staff and that’s after one visit for the bone marrow sample. The consultant at the diagnosis also left me with the key person who I will be involved with during treatment, she was really nice, and immediately made me feel at ease,I think there is a support group in Doncaster and I will try to find out more. It actually feels good on here to be able to open up and I’m sure that can be a positive part of this situation.

Thanks louishenry for your reply, at the moment i’m going through so many emotions, i’m sad, scared, anxious, and many other things. My big problem is  that I live alone and have nobody with me for the majority of the time,my closest relative had a stroke 2 weeks ago and I dare’nt even tell her about my condition in case it affects her. It just seems doom and gloom for me and being a pessimist regarding health makes things worse.
