									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A new system of calculating paraprotein in the blood. My pp&#8217;s were 6, I had another  blood test 3 months later and they were 11, but typed underneath the reading was &#8221;If the pp&#8217;s are above 5 after October 2016, then there could be a 20-30 per cent shown increase &#8211; My consultant wasn&#8217;t sure and neither am I</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi, I just wandered if anyone else&#8217;s hospital had started a new system in the way that the Paraproteins are measured.  I think my pp&#8217;s have gone up slightly, well the count has gone up from 6 to 11, but my consultant is going to wait for a couple of months because it could be a blip in the new system.
