OK we stay here then could go in the Giuness Book of Records 🙂 Had a great time in Cornwall with the family got back Monday night. On my other thread I said about my appointment next wednesday at the Myeloma clinic ,as any one got some ideas on what I should ask the Doc.Bearing in mind I have never had any treatment in 5yrs,I just thought it maybe useful to others on here. I thought I would ask for my paraprotien levels and weather they are up or down, also I could ask about kidney function, what else. Ted

Hi Mari hope things have been sorted now ,on the bright side my Doc said I shouldn't take too much notice of the PPs as other symptons which they would pick up first would be more important, my PPs went up when I had a bad time with tummy trouble.I go next week and I must remember to ask what mine are ,Take care, Ted

Hi I'm back again,:-) Not much happening here(Leeds) the weather has changed to blooming awful as usual. I went to the chest clinic Thursday and got some good news my recent CD scan shows no change in the last 5yrs which has got to be good and they are going to put me on a yearly visit ,also he said if I have problems this year as I did last he will be willing to see me,great news as I see it. I also got my 3 monthly appointment for the Myeloma clinic bang on time (Nov 5th) I thought it would be late as cuts seem to be causing problems elsewhere in the NHS.Been very tired these last few days seems to come and go, a few days of afternoon tiredness then a period of being OK again quite weired its not just tired more a feeling of absolute exhaustion then it just goes off after a few hours. We both had our flu jab today it was like a cattle market walk in Hello roll up the sleeve jab and out about 3 mins. Well hope every one is OK. Take care Ted.

Hi Ellen, as a newby, and never had any treatment my opinion doesnt carry as much weight as some but I can see what you mean from the point that people may not post when they know the end maybe approaching, because they dont want to upset people who are trying to be upbeat, this must be true because here I am trying to write this with out saying the word (dying). So long as the special category doesnt exclude these people from useing the rest of the forum. Hi David, Glad to hear the news, but give me a break as a newby to this site (not to MM) whats SCT and whats Vasbyte please. Mynumbers which they give me when I go are last time 11, I think thats paraprotein, it dosent seem to change much over the years but last year when I was ill with a tummy bug it went up to about 16 which seemed to upset them ,but as I didnt know what it was till I came on this site I was in blissfull ignorance.Keep up the good work its nice when some one has some good news. Ted:-)

Hi Peter and Jo, I just didnt think of any one else having the wobbles when it comes to hospital appointment time, but ofcourse we all must get it, unlike most people on here it is about 5 years since I was diagnosed and so far I havnt had any treatment, so I know I'm very lucky, but it still gets to me the week before the appointment,I always have that feeling ,this time is it. So all the best Peter and long may it last. Ted
