    Hi folks
Thanks for your support it really means a lot.
Carol I do feel blessed four good years was more than I expected and to be honest it’s not that much of a shock to us.

I am being treated in Scunthorpe General under Dr Jalihal and the Velcade would as he said in 1998 be his first choice but at that time they wouldn’t let him.
As for the pet scan he says he will book one.

Michele, you are correct I will fight this with determination like the first time.and I hope you don’t need that attitude for many a year to come.

Richards, am already dusted down my friend all ready for the next battle, I have read good news about the Velcade also since my relapse read it all I think he he.
Good luck for Monday drag them blight ers out in one hit.

Hi Rebecca, well am not sure how many days as yet will have to wait till I see Dr J next time he will be doing my BMB I hope he can turn the screw thing as he is only tiny lol, I like a good long walk as well it keeps my heart going and makes me smile x

    Thanks you all

    Hi Maureen and Ian

Well done to Ian for getting Home now lets hope he stays home, its good to have the hospital close by as it takes a lot of pressure of you all.

As for the Back Op and it keeping opening up I think its best way to have it packed and changed daily as that way it heals from the inside out am sure its best all round.

    Stay well and stay warm

    Love to you Both

    Hey Carol
Its good to let it know how you feel it just might shove it to the background and not forgetting a "Partial" is better than None and your treatment is still in the early stages 😀 stick with it Carol and am sure you will soon shove it away.

Its a rough ride but it is a doable young lady 😎

    Hi all
Well I was having Zometa for two years post SCT and was told prior to starting to have my teeth checked the on my first visit for the infusion I was given two sheets of A4 paper with all the info on and part of that was no extractions of teeth.

So someone failed along the line am afraid, hope it's soon sorted.

    Hi Carol
Your welcome, no I was fine up to the cells being put back then it kicked off a few days after having them in, well worth it though I sit here nearly four years of remission and drug free 😀

Good luck on the road to remission.

    Hi Carol

Well I had my injections Two per day for I think 5days and on day 3 I got bad pain in ribs and back and that lasted for two days and my harvest yielded enough cells for 2 transplants.

Was the pain bad enough to take painkillers well for me it wasn't I just wanted to make sure I got as many as possible
    Good luck with your harvest.

    Dear Ross

Many thanks for coming on here as am sure you have plenty to do.

Like most on here I never met Dai and for that I am sad BUT am sure our Dai will not want us to be sad at his passing on Dai am sure will want us to remember him with a smile on our face and a skip in our step because that is the type of Gentleman he was, he was polite pleasant and down to earth so am sure we all have had our tears at our Dai passing on Dai would want us to remember him with a smile and not a tear.

Sad as it is Our Dai would want us to be Happy about his Life.

So a Smile from me when I say with respect rest in peace my friend, sadly missed but pleased to have come into contact with you. Xx

    Hi all

Well we all have "what ifs" but that won't help and I know it's difficult to get those out of your minds but hey oh we can't do anything rather than fight it all the way and it can be done, I have been in remission for near four years, yes I still get out of breath and yes I have the bad back, hips and shoulders but am assured those are just (yep just) old age and am only 58 ha ha, but it's true I would have got the above due yo wear and tear anyways.

So take every day and when fit and well make the most of it.

    Love to you all.
