I have suffered a regular sore throat and intolerance to hot drinks and food since my SCT 🙁 as for the sickness well I was still taking Anti Sickness Pills for nearly a year after SCT but a lot of sickness is going around near where I live :-/ might be same near you.

Aww Bless Tina I know how you feel, I was like that when I was missed (forgot about) for my stem cell transplant they sent some one else instead it put me back by 5 weeks 🙁 I wasn't Happy, but as David say's it all worked out in the end 😎

I am sure Micky will be soon sorted out, and I know that Hospitals aint that good for the rest and relaxing but it will be better for Micky as they can sort his problems out as they go along rather than re book another out paitants.

Give my regards to Micky and please tell him that I and others have been through it and came up better,

Am sorry to hear you are having to delay your treatment 🙁 because if you are like me I want it all to start "Yesterday" but am sure its for the best, get shoulder all better then you can start again 🙂

First and formost am with you on the Wine "Red" and next I know its hard to see a loved one feel and look ill its not good to watch, but on the bright side we have a lot of people on here that went to nearly bottom then something that was tried kicked in and worked as Dai says Keep your Dad as strong as you can and keep dad as positive as you can I feel a lot of healing is done in the head, yes i have had my bad days in my road to recovery but thankfully My Young Bride and Kids kept me strong in my own mind and that helped in my recovery to remission.

Its a strange route for you and your dad Nicola but with strenth and determination it will work, I think that I lost in weight about 3 stone but it is all back (and some) on.

Well am sorry the Honeymoon is over.

I was on CDT prior to my SCT, so Bad news is it made me tired and weak:-/ Good News It was the start of putting me into remission:-D (still no hair loss) then SCT I had that December 2009 it was OK Ish?

Would I go through it again? well it has to be a big yes. oh and lost my hair when in hospital for SCT, but thats no big deal for me as am half hairy anyways Lol. could i give myself an Injection :-0 No way they did ask if I wanted to be taught hot to Inject my growth factor injections I said No thank you al come up here to visit lol.

Did I sail through it all?? Yes I think in all honesty I did, yes it had its hard times and i felt why? but as I said its worth the bad bits.

Good Luck with it all and you know just take one day at a time when you start it all

Thanks for that info I have had a little bit of dicomfort on my shoulder but I put that down to doing too much and or sitting in a drafty room at work ?

And re your new? treatment I have said before if anyone can do it your the Man 😎
