Hi Gillian aka Gill C πŸ˜€

Good Luck with it all and you seem to be doing ok with it as for the sickness I was on antisickness tabs for months after my SCT, and the bowels am pleased its a distant memory 😎 yep Control never in your life I dare not go far from a loo after anything to eat or drink as it didn't stop long, Lord knows how I got some benafite from what I ate and kept in:-/ so Gill C am sure you and I are not alone with that one 😎 ((better if your in Good Company πŸ˜€ ) you can get Tabs to help with the bowels but they will need to do a sample to make sure its not an infection.

Good Luck with it all and not forgetting dont rush and try and do too much πŸ™‚

    Love

    Hi Helen

Pleased you are finding the info Good for you all:-D and its great to hear about others that are raising money for the dreaded MM:-(

As for the Stem Cell transplant:: oh what can I say?? well to be honest I feel that is has been well worth the off days that I had during my "Recovery" and to be fair it was (cept the growth injection's)Pain free8-)

Yes its not a walk in the park but no pain just a feeling of wanting to be sick (but i never was?) but I was given anti sicknes pills, none of us go through the treatment and run the same way, but to you and your Mum it is well worth it 8-).

I hope they (and they will) get your Mum's pain under control and make the days better.

And as for a Sunday you can come on here anyday any time and ask anything evn just to have a Rant and a moan (trust me its good for you) so dont you worry.
Good Luck for Wed but dont forget never wait for a date to see a Dr if your Mum is not right, am sure you were given contact Numbers??

    Love

    Hi Gill

First dont listen to Eve "re the drink" as its done me the world of good over the last 40 years lol.

But seriously a warm welcome to the site but sorry you had to join.
I was Diagnosed in Jan 2009 and had CDT then Stem cell harvest leading to a Stem cell transplant in december 2009, and am still in remission and doing good:-D still cant do what I used to do before I had MM but have learnt to slow down a bit, and at the moment just get weary more often but thats my bloods :-S
Good Luck on the trail am sure it will ruin smooth 😎

And now as for the demon drink?? I think Eve might be correct as I have gotton myself in some states what with the Vodka/wine and cucumbers:-P so take if want to and leave it if you dont, please dont say "Tom says its Ok" ha ha.

Keep us posted and I wish you a speedy Remission8-)
    Have a great Birthday
