    Hi Sandie

Am sorry to hear about your Mum having to cope with Breast Cancer as well as MM and hope it shrinks with the treatment that she is having for MM.

My Young Bride (Elaine) was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2008 (Grade 3, estrogene receptive) and this summer she will be 5 years clear :-D, Elaine had a Lumpectomy and 5 lymph nods removed and is doing great.

Good luck to you Both as it sounds like you are both having a rough Ride with it all.

    Love to you both

    Hi Lesley

I wondered why you made this ::: A question for the ladies ?? Then I looked at my photo and looked in the mirror and realized why you didn't ask me Ha ha.

Good Luck with it, our Grandkids don't know about my MM they just know Granddads got "Dodgy Bones" 😛 .

    Take care and stay well

    Hi Jean and Frank

Aww Bless you two, its an uphill struggle for most of us and a bit harder than that for some, and you two are a pair of those.
Stick with it Jean you know he is getting looked after and I know its hard for you also so you must take time out to rest.

Did you get a reply from the other Dr about treatment carrying on ?.
Am sure that Light is near you now.
Take Care and am getting a torch to shine to show you the light at the end of the tunnel Tomorrow 😀

    Hi Richard

Welcome but am sorry you had to be here.

What treatment regime are you or will you be going on?? I see you put its an Insurance that will be paying for your treatment? how will that work.
How/why did you lose your licence for HGV due to your Myeloma? how will you fail it for what reason.

Its going to be a rollercoaster of a ride for you more so than mine was due to the language barrier that you find yourself in at the moment.

Just to let you know I was diagnosed with MM in 2009 had CDT then onto a Stem Cell Transplant in Dec 09, am now drug free and still in remission,

Good Luck on your Road to Remission Richard

    Dear Ann

Am sure its hard for you, and I am sorry you are finding it difficult, rather than being on your own can you not go and visit Family and or Friends, and get them to visit you, I know you might not be up to it but one lovely Lady (Min) said on here that its better to expand your world rather than allow it to close into you.
Am sending you Hugs to try and help you through this difficult time.
Stay Strong and just try and think of the Good Times Pre MM.

    Love and Hugs Tom xxx

    Hi Jackie

I am so sorry you are finding it difficult to cope at this time my heart goes out to you.

I am fortunate to have never been in this place that you find yourself in so I cant say "I know how it feels" as I cant.
I am doing good but that said Like Dai I talk about it not only to my wife but my Sons also that way their will be no thinking Did Dad want or did Dad say?? its all been said (well I think it has)
The survival Tip I would say use is Only think of the good times Pre MM and shove the bad MM times out of the window.

Stay Strong and draw your Daughters in Closer to you as am sure you all need that great big Hug.

Sending you all HUGS for you all to use whit that Bottle and chocks.

    Love Tom xxx

Your more than welcome, and as you say its good to hear about remission and long ones at that 😀

And just to add to the Good news I have been in remission since 2009 and drug free since 2012, and am selfish as I am asking for a longer remission 🙂

    Good Luck to you Both

    Hi Maureen and Ian

Am not shocked nor surprised by the way you both feel, as its been said many a many a time its hard bloomin work and i think its harder to be the "Carer" than the patient.

I hope you all have a great Birthday,we all know its not going to be a great big lets get this party started day, so a little bit less is more (as the saying goes) sit next to each other and cuddle and talk about the times pre MM and plan for what you will do when Ian is better.
Its normal to moan and its normal to snap, just bear in mind none of you asked for this damn MM.

You both stay strong and Am sending you both My Cyber Hugs (((((HUGS)))

Love to you both Tom Onwards and Upwards xxx

    Happy Birthday Ian x

    Hi Sarah and Henry

I can tell you I had them as a child, and got spots again when I was in my late 30s and told Dr my wife thinks its chicken pox ??? He said You should listen to your wife more as she is correct. But be grateful it's not shingles ? So the answer is yes.
Hope he stays well from it.

Love Tom onwards and upwards xxx
