    Your welcome.
Dont forget during SCT you wont be alloewd out till your fit (ish) so I would suggest patches before you go in to wean yourself off them 😀 that said you will be near a coma anyways as Elaine told me i slept most of the time Lol.

Easter? well no plans but am sure we will be babysitting some time over that week end 😀 , do you have anyplans for that time???.

    Hi Billy
Sorry you had to join us but welcome anyway.
Its hard to keep your savings when you get ill let alone when you get proper ill 😐

I and my Young Bride (elaine) has seen our savings not only dwinndle but go the lot :-S as Elaine got breast cancer in 2008 and i with MM 2009 🙁
BUT I am pleased to say I dont have Bone damage and can walk about a fair bit (still get puffed and slight pain) cant get DLA but I also had a Low cost endowment for part of the morgage that had "Critical Illness cover" so we aplied to claim on that and after about just over a month the money was paid out not many Questions to answer just forms for Consultant to fill in.
I would reapply for that terminal claim and get your Dr on your side, good Luck

    Hi Ann and Pete

How long did it take to regrow?? Well I was pleased it never came for for such a long time 😀 and when it did it was "Different" My hair was a bit darker, and when I let it grow into a full beard with tash it left patches on face and neck the tash was more like a 50' pencil tash (not shaped by me)it just grew like that, knew when body hair was on its way back as my whole back was itchy as hell as the hair sprouted.
Give it six months + Pete then you will get fed up shaving.

    Keep strong you all

    Hi Jane

You will be fine (ish) and yes i uised to smoke,, stopped just three weeks prior to my SCT in 2009, I was just using Patches to help me while i was in Castle Hill having SCT and thought when i am out I would start again 😀 , but it all fell apart as after SCT I couldn't be bothered or want to Roll me Fag so i didn't nor did i have the side effects that i got before when I stopped and the rest they say is History, never touched one nor felt the need for one since.

But the red wine is good for you 😎

Well we are through the upbringing stage and have moved on broke the chain am pleased to say.

I do hope your dad sorts himself out for him as well as the family.
Your dad is in for a rough ride with the mix that he is in so you must brace yourself as you know you will be the whipping girl to shout at 🙁

I understand you want to help your Dad but please dont take too much on yourself if Dad wont allow you to help without putting too much pressure on you.

I wish you both Well during your dads treatment

    Hi nerys and Mum

A warm welcome to the site, as you know its got great people on here.
You have had your Q answered by those great folk, your Mum's Journey like most here has been a difficult one, most Dr's dont know what and how to tell its MM.
I went in December 2008 with a problem on ribcage and was told it was a "Pulled Muscle or a Bruised Rib" now i have had both of those many a time am sorry to say 😛 and told her it wasn't so after tests/xrays and bloods it was found out to be MM and that was Jan 2009, had CTD and SCT 2009 and am now in remission and drug free 😀

Good Luck to you Both in your Mums road to remission
