    Hi Tanya

I can honestly feel for you as I also was brought up in a household that revolved around drink as a child, Both my parents have now passed away Dad first then Mum, I never used to take my Sons (all grown up now) to "Scot Nanna's" due to her drinking habit.

That said to show you you aint on your own 🙂 xx

That said I wish you Luck with your Dad and I dont think it is going to be an easy route for your dad or you, but he needs first to tackle his drink demons first to get the help he does and will need.

    Take Care

    Hi Jean and Frank

I had mine cut in Hospital by a kind nurse and when I got home i shaved it to the bone with my Electric razor and kept it like that for some time, just used to swith electric razor on and sit wathcing telly and running it over my bald head, did same with eyebrows when they started to have bald bits in them.

Tell Frank to get it all shaved to the bone for a month or two its a lot better (well was for me)

    Love to you both

    Hi Debs

Well said, that young lady was my inspiration through all my treatments first up with good advice and not short to give that comfort as and when you needed it.

Reading Pamela's Post when she was giving advice I could feel her arms giving me comfort also.

You made me Happy and you made me Believe I can do it and for that Young Lady I thank you.
RIP Lovely Lady I will miss you xxx

    Hi Sandie

Am pleased your Mum is getting better and hope the next round of Chemo is good for and to her 😀

As for the steroids well we all differ in what and how we cope with treatment but am sure am safe by saying a weight gain is civen on steriods (i did but i had lost a lot of weight due to MM (and I thought it was my diet ha ha) as for the steroids helping the osteo arthritis pain ?? I dont know all I do know is that it cam mask an infection so keep an eye on your Mums Temperature.

New Knee am sure i need two and am only 57 lol, the Bisphosphonates before you go on them you should have your teeth checked and anywork done on them, before, when on them you can still have them cleaned and filled I think the only thing you cant do is have any removed, you will need to be of the Bisphosphonates for a bit of a time.

You have got a busy time ahead of you all, Hope it all pans out Just right
