Stem Cell Harvest am sure you wont find that too much of a problem if like me you should find it pain free.

The GSF injections well I had to go into the Day Unit and get a nurse to do mine ha ha Now way was I sticking Myself so i wish you good luck with it. (BTW it dint hurt its just me) during the Injections i had about two and a half days of Back rib pain but i never took anything to lessen it :-S .
Good Luck with it its a longish wobly road at times is the SCT but it is a Doable and worth it 😀

I know your dads doing great 😀 it looks lie he might beat me and get out in less than the 16 days I done, and every one thought that was Good.
Dont worry to much about your dad getting more blood I had one two days before i was let out 😀 and the Dr said that I could have been let out the day before.

Yep am up for that Dai, its one thing I regret (and i dont do regrets easily 😛 ) that I dint do a blog or have a diary or even jot things down on rough bits of paper 🙁 and we all know how the brain goes after Chemo Ha ha.

Your Doing well with it all Peter, But Wine and Chocalate :-0 am a savory man with my drink.
As for hair (and you peeped at my FB) mine has grown back but i lost the middle top bit lol, I have to admit I was very happy whn I never needed to shave as I hate it.and i hope spring is soon here cant wait.

Well first no way would you wake me for bloomin Football Lol
Second I can tell you Frank is doing Bloomin well 😎 I at that stage was asleep most of the time and only woke up to say Good Bye to Elaine and whoever turned up that day/nite, and as the Dr said "he is ahead of the pack" is soo true so thats Good but it still will be an uphill battle to get to the "I Feel Well" but its getting closer 😎

Sorry you had to join but its best place to be if MM is involved Good People and Good advice to be had here 😀

Just a fast one I am now 57 and i had my SCT in December 2009 and am doing great and drug free 😀

Its an uphill fight some days when you go through the treatment but it is a Doable, a few blogs have been done so a look at those would throw some light on it for you.

How old is your Dad and his Name? and where will he be geting his treatment as some people might be getting treatment at same place and can give you more detailed info.

Good Luck to you all in this road to remission.

Well I wouldn't worry too much about the weight loss honest it comes back with a vengance lol, I went down to less than 70k and my normal wieght is 95 k so it was a big loss and trust me nip over and see my photo's on Face Book its well Back Lol.

Hi all
Well I class myself as one of the lucky ones and yes i dont fear death but am not ready for it, do we as a Family talk about it YES we do but more of a FUN(if you can make it sound funny?) way so we can lesson the tension that having a terminal illness throws upon you.

I went to a Support group a fair few times but unfortunately we lost them all (apart from me) and that is a hard thing to cope with watching and seeeing all your other MM folk around passing away and me ?? am still ok and that I find strange.

I hope the above and My Post gives you all strenth and know it is a doable to be well and Fit ish when they find what works for you.

Well aint your Hubby doing well 😀 am sure (but my mind has gone awo;?) Frank is doing better than I did at same time ? you will have to ask Elaine Jean am sure she will remember Lol. but all through it i was up showered and shaved (its all you have to do to be honest) and dressed it made me feel better when i fell asleep lol. I think the Poorly bit is on its way so be warned its Normal am afraid to say, you might get to the room and Frank might be asleep all the way through the visit, he is not being rude its just the best way to do it.
Stay Well and jean dont forget to rest yourself as you will be needed when Frank comes Home.

Its been that long am not sure who was first with SCT ?? as for you tube I have one and for those that are a little bit bored nip in and look at you tube account for me and thats :::: anotherbrotherofjock enjou it lol

Bless its hard aint it?
But I will tell you what I have done over the years including during and after SCT (but I dont advise anyone else to do it, worked for me 🙂 )

All my life I have took the kids when they are ill and cuddled them saying "Come on Give us a cuddle and Dad will take your poorly away" Now that worked for our three (now grown up) Sons, and i now do it to our Grandkids and i hate to admite it when they were ill I still got them in for a cuddle even when they were too ill to be brought to me I went to them (silly I know) but I had to do it and would do it again if i was in same position.
The Above worked for me and please dont do it yourselfs.
