Sorry you have A rash, I had a rash during my CDT but I have had a skin problem for years it just kicked in worse during treatment.

Yes I was on Thal, I got through it pretty well to be honest, yes I went on sick for a year had all it done in 09 and am now Pleased to say drug free and still in remission, my ext visit will be 14 Feb,

Well I was on CDT and was pretty much the same, I went on sick in the May (that would have put me nearly finished. My third cycle, so am sure it's same as mine.

Hi Keith

Good first week, keep your eye out for constipation that was a devil for me if I got lax (no pun intended) and never took the mess to keep me regular.

And don't forget the water, I would say a little more than 3 Ltr a day as I suffered urinery infections and was told to drink more.

Keep well Keith I did 5 cycles then SCT.

A warm welcome to the site.
Am sure I can't advice you what to do, but I can tell you I was on CDT then onto a Successful SCT all in 2009, I am now in remission and drug free and still doing well , it has had it's moments over the year and a bit to be fair but it is a doable .

Where are you being treated ? As some on here might be at same hospital and can tell you more.

Got mine Localy and it has a "Fold up sheet" inside that gives you space to put Contact details, allergys and things that need to be told to medics before treatment starts, hope you never have to use it 🙂 but it puts my mind at rest after my SCT.

Seven Children wow I have three Sons all grown up and yes I/we found it pretty easy to tell the kids as we had been through it before with my Young bride (breast cancer) but I know its hard, it depends on how old the Children are as to how much I would tell mine ? three sons know all but Grandkids (we have six) only know Granddads got poorly bones (so dont jump on him ha ha)

Take a Look and see if you have a Myeloma support group near you and go along and join.

Yes Elaine and I are doing great Thanks 😀
Kev will have same as Elaine the "Tattoos" for his R/T Elaine had 25 sessions of R/T in 2008 and did pretty good with it 😎

Its like your rink here in Sunny Scuuny am afraid, I just hope the dog dunt pull me over when i take him for a walk Lol.
Good Luck and am sure the RT will work 😀 and cut down if not stop the pain.
