Sorry you had to join us but a warm welcome to you both.
I cant help you out on this as I have just had CDT then SCT in 2009.

Am sure some one will be on that has or is having that treatment.

Where is John getting his treatment?

    Hi Sue

    The posts above are correct.
A Hospice is one of the best places to go to have the pain sorted out faster than a GP or Hospital can do it.

I have talked to my young bride Elaine and said that I dont want her to have to care for me 24/7 am not fussed about going into a hospice for her to get a break and for Last stages I dont want to be at home (I dont think ??)

Get some help for you both and grab it with both hands, you are not giving up when a Hospice is used or some one to come and sit with Michael while you get out for an hour or two or just to have a nights sleep.
Am sure if you Email or phone the Nurse on this site she will be able to point you in the right direction.

    Love and Hugs

    Hi Chris

Good Luck in your new treatment I hope its fast and puts you and keeps you in remission for many a year 😀

Re the hiccups ? well My steward at our local drinking hostelry gets rid of everybody's and she has never failed.

get a glass of water (we do it with beer lol) fill your mouth DONT SWALLOW YET, put your fingers in your ears so you cant hear (Bev told us all this before we plugged our ears he he) when ears is plugged start to swallow the water SLOWLY unplug your ears when moth empty and walla No More Hiccups I hope. 😀

Tom "Onwards and Upwards" x let me and others know how you get on with that little trick 🙂
