My Young Bride was told to avoid indoor pools (for 121 months) after she had Radio therapy when she had her op for breast cancer but wal Ok to go in the sea.

Thank Ali I am doing Ok not coughing as much but think I am losing my Voice (am sure I heard my young bride say "cant wait" lol)

Am sure you know that I am now Drug Free 😀 but what I read on here the Velcade sounds like a good one and good for us humans 😎
I am with you re that hot beach and a few Vodka's thrown in also.

Our week end away was great we had a bril time and sent kids home on Sunday Shattered he he.

Hi Helen well am pleased I am reading this as it makes my bad chest seem a lot better, and trust me I dont think you could get "Grumpy" 😉

I asked about child hood jabs and was told i dont need them?? we will wait and see Lol.

Now waiting for Dr's to get more Flu jabs in they have run out??

A warm welcome and I would like to wish you well on your road to remission. I hope the road is a smotth one ? I felt mine was smooth after reading some posts on here later on? or is it that the mind can blank things out?? nope I had a easy run thats for sure.

Stay Strong and stay well and follow what your body tells you, I know it will be hard with having a young 10 year old, but get as much help as you can and even if you think you can manage take that help anyways.

Ask away I am all done after CTD them SCT in 2009 and doing good 😀 , as for work ? I was on sick for one year and went back on light dutie's.

As for the Velcade am sure its not used as a "Front Line Treatment" yet so you have to have failed one before this one is given.

Hi Kevin Am sure that will be a help for those that are due or just starting CTD and if i may add that I concur with that 😀 and for you and those like you comming up and due to a SCT I can tell you I had mine done in December 2009 and Like your and mine CTD the SCT is well worth it.

I am here nearing 3 years post Transplant and feel Great 😎

I have just renewed my blue badge (they last three years) and still had to fill in the 70 odd pages lol, never knew about a single page one all I know was she said (lady in blue badge dept) that if I have a Mac Nurse it will come through faster as it was only a phone call for them to make (i dint have a mac nurse and still dont have one) so it was a letter to my Dr for him to confirm I had MM, second one was fill in same form and a Nurse at the blue badge Dept said yes if he had it three years ago (confirmed by his Dr then he still has it) ha ha.

When you get it dont forget your free bus pass yep free, and mine covers me for free travel on the train (I live in Scunthorpe) from Cleathorpes to Doncaster and those in our area.

Good Luck with it all its well worth its money even though the Hospitals still make you pay to park, but I park on Yellow lines outside the hospital and Bu&&er they payment he he
