I cant praise My Company hard or long enough, started my treatment in Feb 2009 (CTD leading up to SCT Dec 09) went on sick May 09 till May 2010 decided I wanted to go back to work (I work on a docks forklift tug driving ((hard graft)) and that) seen our MD and he said he found me (made a job for me??) and that was as a "Gateman" yep start and finish time would be 6am till 4pm ;-0 but Garry (MD) said I could start and finish anytime during those hours 😉 If I was awake and fit start at 6 and if tired start when I felt fit and go home as and when I wanted to.

I have been doing the "Job" since May 2010 and still at it with all the perks and wages that me fellow workmates get, how long will it last?? I dont know I will keep turning up to a Job that was created for me till I cant or they dont want me anymore. If I have time off for holls or hospital no one takes over "The" Job so it was truly set up for me (dint have one before.

Well am sorry its a none starter again 🙁 I do feel for you both and wish I could get hold of some one and give them a good shake for them to get a move on.

I like you two have sat back and let it all take its course but it has worked for me so far BUT I would be up in arms if I was same as Colin camping out in the waiting room would be me and Mine.

Your More than welcome, but bare in mind its not a walk in the park but it is "Paine Free" cept having the GCSF Injections and the BMB and I put the rest down to "Just Stuff" its a doable and as I said I would go through it all again 😎

Hey you two a good row is good it clears the air (think of thunderstorms, how good the air feels after one)

My Young Bride and I have struggled a fair few time of her trying to help me up of the floor many a time.

Trust me you two the light is at the end of the tunnel I had my SCT in December 09 not a good month even if i did miss Santa ha ha, but it was well worth it.:-D

Would I do it again No problems as it has made me fit (ish) and in remission and drug free in a couple of years still down the line 😎
Just take one day at a time and rest when your body tells you (that info was for Pete and You as Partners often forget they need rest also)

Hi Gill

I had Zometa for two years after my SCT then it stopped so I think two years was/is the norm and I have never paid for any treatment even before it became free for cancer sufferers. My Dr had a Nurse fetch my stuff up to the clinic and if i needed any thing else my Nurse Heln woulg go and fetch it 🙂

Hope its soon resolved

Dear Gill and Stephen

Well you Know I am truly sorry it has come to this stage, and as sure as eggs are eggs My young bride (Elaine) and I will have to go through this 🙁 I just hope as and when it comes we both can face it with the strenth and dignity that you and Stephen have and are facing Head on.

I admire Stephen for his decision and you for sticking with Stephen in that choice am sure it aint easy girl.

Your Posts are not Waffle Gill and you are one of the positive ones on here who I am sure you are not aware but not only have you helped Stephen through tis Godforsaken MM you have helped me and many many more with you poitive post.

I also aint gonna re read this for political correctness and or bad spellings as I am struggling to see the keyboard through tears.
