Well I have done well I found my spread sheet when i was having my CTD and it has times I should take the tabs on a day as follows :::::

1) Granisetron, 1tab at 8 am and one tab at 8pm every 7 days

2) Cyclophhosphamide, 10 tabs at 8am every 7 days

3) Dexamethasone, 10 tabs at 8am and 10 tabs at 11 am dyas 1to 4 and days 15 to 18

4) Omeprazole, 2 tabs 8am days 1 to 4 and days 15 to 18

5) Allopurinol 1 tab 8 am days 1 to day 7

6) asprin, 1 tab 8 am every day (28 day cycle)

7) Thalidomide, 4 tabs 8pm every nite

8) Sodiam Clodronate, 2 tabs 8am every day

and we all needed the "Strong Codanthramer" (Great stuff he he) use at nite as and when requried . Hope this helps you and all others.

Thats great news it all sounds like it is falling into place 😀 and great to hear Kidneys are improving.

I think its a case of making do with the side effects if its clearing a big bit of the MM.

I hope your Mum and Dad enjoy the well deserved holiday 😎

I see you have got some good posts to read 🙂 and am sure it all helps, you wont be able to stop your Mum doing her bit but she will need to rest up and let her body heal.

How long was it before I got fit?? and 10% to be Honest Rach I aint 100% but am good enough 😀 but when I felt Better and knew I was better 😎 would be about two month post sct and I woke up knowing I had turned the corner, even my Young Bride (Elaine) knew I was a new man when she came home from work and I didn't say anything 😎
You and your Mum will get through all this uphill at times then it just seems to click into place averything is near back to normal.

Sorry to hear about your Mum but a warm welcome to the forum, it will am sure give you and your Mum plenty of advice and help.

My treatment was 5 cycles of CTD then SCT in december 2009 and am pleased to tell you I am in remission and drug free 😀

How is your Mum now? is she at home now??
Ask anything you need to ask and honest nothing is too silly for us.

Stay Strong and give your Mum a Hug from some one that has been through it.

Hello Only Me

I am pleased to read you are getting stronger and your Lovely Mum had the send off that she wanted.

I also has some Counseling just after my Stem Cell Transplant and like you found it a great help. would i do it again? too true i would would i tell people that it worked for me too tue on that also so if you need some more go ahead and get it.

You are so right re "[u]try not to feel guilty thinking you could have done this or you shouldn't have thought that …. it's a hard road, we can only do our best."[/u] as My Young Bride and I have said that many a time we do the best "At that Moment" and we promised each other we would not say WE/I should not have blas bla as its a learning curve for us all every month is different.

Hi Vicki and Colin

Well I had CTD then SCT in 09 was feeling weak and tired during and and even when having no treatment, even today I still get tired easy some days and some days I am spot on 🙂 dont get me wrong I cant do a run (dont think I ever could though he he)

Am sure if bloods are OK then Colin might be same as me and just plain old tired :-S
