<p>I also miss part of posts on the hp desktop PC with 20inch wide screen monitor at work using internet explorer and laptop at home using chrome. I have had no problems with the ipad using safari.</p>

<p>I had my SCT at Barts a long time ago in June 2005. The standard of the treatment and accomodation was excellent. The only downside was the traveling time from Colchester. Whether to go for a SCT or not is an individual decission. I definately would go for a 2nd SCT if its needed.</p>

<p>Glad you found my post encouraging. No bone invovement or major infections so far. I try to keep as fit as I can by biking to work,gardening and walking the dog. I had shingles and some major aches and pains after the SCT but soon back to normal. I have a few aches and pains at the moment but thats down to decorating. <p>Diagnosed December 2004 with Light chain myeloma following unrelated urine test in September 2004. Asymtomatic with kidney function deteriating. (creatinine 180 and rising)Age 53.</p>

When I was diagnosed and started treatment in dec 2004 I started taking an apple, pear, banana, orange, dried apricots and walnuts in my packed lunch. I did achieve complete remission so the change in diet did not hurt. I often eat mangoes and regularly drink mango and orange fruit juice.
