Thanks Jan. I went to see my nurse about the pain in my hip and thigh, and also mentioned some shoulder pain which she felt was muscular. I was diagnosed with smouldering Myeloma on 12/02/14 my consultant said he envisages treatment in the future but needs to do regular tests to gain a picture of how it is developing. Hi All I got my results last week – its smouldering Myeloma – back for further blood tests in four weeks – at the moment my paraprotien level is 15% – dont really understand what this means – the consultant said he needs to build up a picture of how slowly/rapidly it is developing.
