Hi Min so glad that things are improving for you both. i went to france at the end of june for painting swimming and walking what bliss!! it does help to cope with whatever mm has next to throw at carers!! did feel guilty, gordon was fine though and was impressed with my ?art work.

Hi bridget sorry you are having such a tough time, when gordon was first diagnosed his wonderful consultant told him no one should live with pain, the reality is this is not always possible. I do feel for you as i have at last got rid of a bad back i was so miserable and a s…. to live with, nothing compared to you.many cyber hugs and to min to.

Hi All

Forgotten what a good sleep is!! Min I need your drops, when are you going to the states again? I sleep with ear plugs listening to radio 4 extra i hear the start of a story hear the end, miss the middle!!! I keep having to buy books from amazon just to read the middle:-| Such is life;-)

All sounds horrid but also sounds as though the treatment is having some good effect,also sounds as though your hospital needs more capacity!! Things are not too good in the NHS very scary for mm patients but what is new.:-(

I am so sorry to read of the passing of you much loved fil, I am saddened that he was unable to go home, i thought terminal patients had a choice as to where they wish to be at the end of life, silly silly me!! I did believe the hype no more!

From what I read there is a whole new medical word which will revolve round stem cells and the healing they may be capable, of for many nasty disieses (spelling)!

Gordon had his 2nd sct at kings in december he found 2nd time round very difficult mentally and physically. He is in remission para protien 2 so feeling fairley well. cant help with the spelling i am a dreadful speller, we need spell check!!!!

Hi Bridget

He is scared rotten, I have told him hip or wheelchair, steriods did not help. It is rotten for him and you to have a double whammy, rotten hip and mm, but we all just have to get on with it, unfortunatly!!

Went stawberry scrumping again yesterday with my small partner in crime, who ate most of them!!

Have a good day we are off to the haemotology consultant today then hopefully a boozy lunch.
