Hello, sorry to read your husbands smouldering MGUS has tipped over to Myloma. We keep reading that Myloma is very individual, but my experience may help. I have been on 4 different drug treatments (Including Lenalidomide) over the last 20 months, hoping to get my Myloma under control in order to have a Stem Cell Transplant. My side effects, whilst there, have been minimal – Lenalidomide didn’t make me sick, didn’t lose my hair, and although I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet – it didn’t get any worse. I do get very fatigued, but I think that is inevitable as part if the disease and all treatments. All in all, I think I have been very lucky and side effects have been not to bad. I hope your husband is as lucky, and he responds well to the treatment. Hope this helps put your mind at rest a bit. Good Luck to you both.
