Hi there. My hubby was diagnosed Feb 2014 age 47. He has had 2 x SCT. He has now developed avascular necrosis in both hips. Left being sevear and needing hip replacement. However because of Covid-19 they are not operating at the moment.
Has anyone had hip replacement? What was recovery time scale? Could you walk unaided afterwards? Did you return to work? Hubby is sheilding currently and now until 16th Aug but inevitable he will now need more time off work. He is unable to put any weight on his left foot as advised by Dr
Sorry about all the questions but would like to hear from others that have had either hip replacement or necrosis generally
    Many thanks
    Leza and Phil Starkey
